Our Commercial Services team is currently looking for a Junior to Intermediate level Contract Administrator to join their team and provide support and insight to the pre-contractual phase of commercial management, contract negotiations, development, execution and closeout activities.

In this role the Junior to Intermediate level Contract Adminstrator will be working closely with team members to support the pre-contractual phase of contract management as well as supporting the submission of bids and proposals by advising contract conditions and risk identification. You will assist with negotiations with customers with respect to commercially advantageous terms and conditions, prices and payment plans and advise accordingly. You will liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and be a point of contact for customers for both day-to-day and in-depth concerns. You will be part of ongoing internal process improvement process, support the senior program staff through reviews and presentations and provide reports when required.


  • Post-secondary degree in Business Commerce, Law or other related field.
  • Experience in a Commercial Services/Contracts or similar role with at least 1 to 3 years of experience with exposure to the development and implementation of commercial and or contractual policies and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office applications with excellent written and oral communications; comfortable with conducting presentations
  • Interpersonal and team effectiveness skills, ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and research abilities, detail oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Professional business acumen skills to provide customer service to client groups with the ability to resolve commercial and business related issues
  • Results oriented with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with effective time management and organization skills; knows when to ask for help
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Ideally, you may have experience in the following;

  • Certified procurement or contracting designation (PMAC, NCMA, CCCM) would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with a CRM, Oracle or related system would be an asset
