  • Project/Program Overview

    General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is looking for an HR Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Director, Global Compensation & Systems & Global Mobility, the HR Analyst will be responsible for the support of Global Mobility and Compensation programs and services.


    Global Mobility –Canada and the United Kingdom

    • Provides support and coordination for international and domestic assignment activities including; immigration, cost estimation, documentation , and relocation 
    • Adheres to, and maintains required taxation processes and supporting documentation 
    • Initiates immigration and relocation cases with external vendors, and acts as liaison between the service provider and the assignee.
    • Tracks ongoing employee assignment status and advises of upcoming requirements for assignment and immigration renewals
    • Prepares employee assignment, relocation and business traveller letters as required
    • Helps to maintain compliance with all federal, and international immigration and expatriate regulations
    • Works with Payroll and Finance to ensure proper processing of assignment benefits and allowances
    • Identifies, develops and implements new process as required
    • Participates in developing and establishing new GM policies



    • Supports compensation program analysis including; pay programs, job evaluation and tracking and maintenance of day-to-day programs.
    • Assists with special projects and other duties as required


    • Minimum two years’ related experience
    • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
    • Good knowledge of employment related legislation for Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with all levels of management
    • Strong written and oral communication abilities, decision making and customer service skills
    • Ability to challenge self to think outside the box and open to continuous learning
    • Must show initiative, creativity and adaptability

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with or HR Diploma, or with equivalent experience



    Minimum 10 year consecutive residence in Canada – for Canadian Secret Security Clearance
    Applicants will be required to obtain/hold a valid and current Canadian security clearance to gain access to the classified spaces, information and equipment in order to perform the work associated with this position.
