Project/Program Overview

The EvO Canadian products Deputy Program Manager(DPM) will report to the EvO Canadian products Program Manager and have responsibility for the execution of the EvO product development. Working with the products PM team, the Deputy Program Manager will manage cost and schedule execution of the EvO product development.


Typical Duties:

  • Manage the EvO products development with the cost account managers leading the development effort
  • Manage schedule reviews, risk reviews for product development and interface with program level schedule and risk reviews
  • The DPM will support financial level reporting as required by the EvO Products Program Manager
  • The DPM will participate in Internal Program Reviews to provide data on program execution and risk
  • The DPM will contribute to the preparation and management of semiannual prepare annual operating budget (request) (internally named an ETC). 
  • The DPM will be responsible for tracking annual program costs that will form part of the justification of the requested operating budget. The DPM will be responsible for justifying budget requests as needed to meet contract requirements
  • The DPM work with General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada Quality and in support of project audits and will also be responsible for closure of all EvO Products Quality Corrective Actions and Observations


 Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 8 years of staff and/or technical project management experience


  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience


Minimum 10 year consecutive residence in Canada – for Canadian Secret Security Clearance

Applicants will be required to obtain/hold a valid and current Canadian security clearance to gain access to the classified spaces, information and equipment in order to perform the work associated with this position.
